Prepare for....CHRISTMAS!!

OHHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYY GOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSH!! Only a week and a half until Winter Breaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak!!

Wow this year has been going by so fast, it's insane! I feel so old right now... I remember when I was a kid, I would always complain how things would take FOREVER. Now, I don't even remember half of the things that I do. (Now only a couple more months until I graduate!) Only if time could slow down.

Anyways, I just want to post really quick about some of our Christmas Prep activities that have been going down in the past week. My parents and I were finally able to get our Christmas tree, which was freakin' awesome! This was the first time my dad let me help, literally, put up the Christmas tree. First we had to shake it a bit outside to get all of the loose pines out. Then, we sawed off about two inches from the bottom of the trunk. I helped lift the tree up while my dad adjusted the Christmas tree stand. Lastly, we put in about half a gallon of water and tree preservative into the stand. The next day, I had to fill up the stand again! It's crazy how fast a tree can soak up water. I can't wait till most of my siblings come home so we can start decorating the tree together! We'll put up decorations that our family has had since the early eighties such as the Winnie the Pooh skirt, the musical Christmas lights, and all of the ornaments.

By the way, I got a footed pajama from Target to wear on Christmas Eve! Man I haven't worn one of those for a long time. I'm even considering wearing it next week before school ends for break. I also want to wear an ugly sweater too!

This year, I plan to play a lot of Christmas music on the piano so everyone can "spread Christmas cheer, singing for all to hear". So these past few days I have been practicing up a storm to perfect every song. There's been a lot of frustration and mess ups. But hey, keep practicing and the songs will sound good in the end!

Remember what I said in my past essay? Oh yes, I've started cleaning the house! Obviously I start with my room (becaues it's the dirtiest room in the house, muahahaha), then the living room, kitchen, front room, dining room, basement, bathrooms, stairs, windows, walls, plants, blah blahblahblahblhalbhalballaaaaaaaaa... I'll be doing these a step at a time until the family Christmas party. If I follow this plan, I won't have to procrastinate and feel exhausted on the most festive day of the year.

I just can't wait till my siblings come hooooooooooooooome! My brother lives with us and goes to college, but he always comes home late because of classes and clubs so I barely get to see him. My sister from California is coming next Sunday, I'm so excited!! We plan to have a baking session making things like cakes, sfogliatelle, cream puffs, CHOCOLATE SOUFFLES, cookies, and more! Now with my other sister living in Brooklyn Park, we are planning to make my mom's surprise present. I can't really talk about it much, because my mom might read this post..... HI MOMMY!!!! :D (And yes, I do still say mommy, got a problem with that?)

I just can't wait. A lot of my relatives are coming over, surprises are around the corner, great food is on the way, the holiday season is in motion! Sleigh bells ring, are you listenin', in the lane, snow is glistenin', a beautiful sight....

P.S.
Here's an awesome video from one of my favorite youtube stars. Introducing, Ryan Higa on Christmas!! :D Keep up the good work Ryan!

Hope you all enjoyed it!
