But, but, but.... I want what she's wearing!!

Let's see if you can guess correctly what rhetorical modes I have used to write about JEALOUSY.

1.) Jealousy can be most apparent by looking at the actions of children. A circumstance that easily projects jealousy is when a child grows feelings of obsession toward a toy and resentment toward the other child who possess the toy.

2.) People can show many different types of jealousy. In order to gain a better understanding of jealousy, it can be divided up into four different forms; sibling rivalry, workplace jealousy, romantic jealousy, and platonic jealousy. Sibling rivalry can occur to any member of the family no matter the age. Jealousy can occur by a parent giving more attention toward a specific child compared to the other children. Next, workplace jealousy can form when a worker feels as if their coworker is getting more positive feedback from the boss than themselves. For romantic jealousy, this can develop if one partner in the romantic relationship invests more attention and time to another person outside of the romantic relationship, while the other partner forms the feelings of jealousy. Compared to romantic jealousy, platonic jealousy focuses more on jealousy arising from friendships. This can form if two friends are competing for a certain object or fear of being replaced by a third party.

3.) The causation of jealousy is when one person is envious of another person, whether it would be because of their looks, accomplishments, or possessions. Jealousy can lead to the unhappiness, uncontrollable obsession, buildup of hatred within relationships, and so much more. Each person is different in their own personalities, therefore leading to different outcomes.

4.) Being surrounded by so many beautiful girls in high school was enough to hijack my desire to look just like them. I would do anything to trade my dirty blonde hair for their platinum blonde hair, my average pigmented skin for their porcelain skin, my short and chubby body for their lean, sexy looking body, anything! Just as long as I can be just as, or even more, beautiful than them.

5.) Jealousy is the feeling or state of being jealous. Jealous is showing or feeling desire for another person's possession or achievements.

6.)  Jealousy generated from adults is extremely different from jealousy generated from children. Children easily become jealous by wanting  materialistic items from other children and most importantly idealistic ideas such as the perfect birthday party, family, and vacations that "other children are able to experience". Adults may be jealous of other people in these similar topics, but are able to take into account of the realistic factors of life and are able to move on from the jealous feelings.

"Jealousy is all the fun you think they had."

Twilight Saga is overrated...

Friday, I was able to see Breaking Dawn. Personally I'm not a huge fan of this Twilight Saga and I just had to watch it for it's OBVIOUS humor.

In middle school, I have no shame in saying that I read the Twilight books, starting from Twilight, ending with Breaking Dawn. It was pretty good! I enjoyed the books and the plots because they were pretty exciting! The possibility of someone dying, saving someone's life, little twists and unexpected turnouts, everything! Also, by reading the book I was able to create my imaginary and ideal Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, Jacob Black, and other characters.

When the first movie was about to come out, I had huge expectations and was a Twilight fan. I would frequently go on the website to see the updates on the movie, watch interviews, and listen to the songs on the soundtrack. (Thank god I didn't turn into an EXTREME Twilight fan...) My dislike for Twilight started when the idiotic director picked the cast and directed them to act in an odd way.

First of all, Robert Pattison. Why?! I give him credit for Harry Potter, but why Twilight? He ruined everything! The first director wanted him to act animalistic and "sexy". To attain this, Robert would stare at Kristen as if he has a mental problem and would monotonously talk as if he has phlegm in his throat. Sadly, this is implied in each movie within the Twilight Saga. When I read the book, Edward has a lot more emotion. A lot of times, he gets mad at Bella because of all the dangerous things she does, and he also has a playful side when he constantly teases her. But nooooo it can't be put into the movie... In the movie, when he gets mad, his eyes only gets bigger and he continues to stare stupidly at nothing.

Next, Kristen Stewart. She should not have played Bella. I've seen some of her past movies, and she fits those role like Joan Jett in The Runaways and Melinda Sordino in Speak. But when she played Bella, she may look the role but definitely does not play it well. She twitches, stutters, has weird eye contact, and once again talks in a monotonous voice. It's not that hard! Just change your voice into different pitches!
Honestly, I think it's the first director's fault. She was probably on something when she was making the first movie. In interviews, she seemed really out of it and spacey. She picked Robert and Kristen to play the main roles because they reveal great "chemistry" while making out on the bed. REALLY...really...Thank god they got rid of her, or whatever happened, because the movie got progressively better. Too bad they couldn't change the cast...

Well back to Breaking Dawn, it was okay. Some parts were really cheesy and odd, but the graphics were pretty cool! They made Kristen look really unhealthy and sunken in, and her transformation was awesome. Some people thought that it was really disturbing and disgusting, but I think they almost captured the true essence of the book (in my mind at least). I mean, turning into a vampire should not be a joyful experience.

Can't wait till NEXT YEAR (oh lordy...) until the next part comes out so my friends and I can continue making fun of it. That's practically all I did while I watched Breaking Dawn, it made the experience so much more enjoyable. I was so disruptive that the lady next to us got mad, but I can't stop laughing because the movie is just terrible and cheesy! Some people take this vampire story too seriously. (Yeah like the parents who named their kid after Bella's baby and the guy who tattooed his whole body with Twilight pictures.)

If I have the right connections and if I'm loaded with tons of money, I hope to remake the whole Twilight saga.

The internet has done what? X2 pg 126

One thing that has drastically changed our world today is the presence of the internet. How has this affected us?

  • Makes us more introverted.
    • There has been a time when I befriended someone and I thought that this person was really quiet and humble. Then KABOOM! When we started chatting on facebook, this person just went off like a broken fire hydrant! I could not believe my eyes in how wordy and enthusiastic this person was! Even to this day, the person is still really quiet in appearance, but very expressive through the web. Some people are more confident in front of a computer screen compared to a real person.
  • Detaches us from the beauties of life.
    • There are those times when I wish people would get off of their devices so we can just hang out! What are they looking at? Random stuff on the web that relates in no way to them or to the specific occasion. One clear example of this type of situation was when I went to a place which had a lot of rides, and a lot of lines. I went with a group of people in hopes of a nice bonding and memorable experience. But no, that wish can't be granted now can it. The whole day I spent alone, looking at the scenery (my phone doesn't have any high tech internent stuff..), while the other people wasted their time looking at stuff on their phone...stupid technology. Even so, people reluctantly want to leave their house because they rather watch random youtube videos to satisfy their entertainment.
  • Helps us to believe false information.
    • Anyone can post things on the web. How do people get information? Google search. Click on the first thing that pops up. Read. Done.
  • Encourages people to pursue horrible spelling manner.
    • Ever since the Internet came out, so did instant messaging. Instant messaging apparently requires a more efficient way of talking, therefore people abbreviate words to the extreme. Here's a website to help you out. http://www.internetslang.com/
Besides all of these negative aspects of the internet, there have been many positives too. People are able to become more open minded by exploring different cultures and ideas through the web. Also, if people aren't given the opportunity to go to certain events such as a magic show, concert, fashion event, etc, then they can surely turn to the web to read up or watch videos related to the topic. Plus, the web has created a lot of jobs concerning technology and has made jobs easier by giving people the choice to work at home rather than at the workplace.

Personally for me, I don't know what I would do without the Internet. There are so many school clubs that I need to keep up with by sending numerous emails and notifications through the web. The web surprisingly made it easier for college applications. All I had to do was go online, apply, put in my personal essay, then I'm done! Most importantly, I learn a lot of things from the web too. I love to try and find videos (if they aren't removed yet) on youtube that contains content from BBC wildlife or something of the sort. I just love to watch those videos in slow mo.

So is the internet good? Bad? Only you can decide your fate...

Oh Prince Charming, Where art thou??

This is the epitome of a Prince. But not my taste hahaha. Too much.
Yep. I just realized that I'm a hopeless romantic.... How does this make me feel? Really giddy, excited, and crazy! Haahahahahahahahahaaaaaaa!!!  I don't know how to explain it. It's obviously not LOVE because I'm not in love with another person, but rather I feel really connected with the movies or stories I read. When it gets to the "good parts", I tend to feel knots in my stomach and my nerves get a weird tingly feeling. I don't know what my face looks like, but I bet I smile A LOT. Also there tends to be shrieks of excitement. It may sound sad however way you want to interpret it, but I think it's awesome that I haven't had a boyfriend yet. Never had my first kiss, boyfriend, nothing. I am proud. I want to be able to find the right guy, at the right place, at the right time. No offense to all you boys in Wayzata High School, but you guys aren't really impressing me that much, just saying. (Maybe guys need to mature as they go to, or even come out of, college. I can wait.) Anyways, I want to find a guy that's more than just romantic. I want to find someone who is able to converse funny and serious topics with me, do some activities with me like running, be able to sit with me when we have nothing to talk about, and most importantly being with each other in the most sloppiest appearances possible. When I find that guy, I'm not gonna care about my looks at all. I want to be comfortable, sitting on the couch, with my sweats on, reading a book or just hanging out. Here I go talking about my list of an ideal guy... :D I guess some of the books and movies that I've been watching lately have made me feel this way.
Oh J.J. Feild as Mr. Tilney!! Ahh!!

I've suddenly gotten into reading and watching Jane Austen stories. So far, I've seen or read Pride and Prejudice, The Northanger Abbey, and Persuasion. It's wonderful! It's not like the typical girl in distress in need to be saved by her hero, but rather a more developed plot of the main girl having some sort of conflict with the guy, and in the end being able to resolve the problem and live happily ever after! One story I disapprove of Jane Austen is Emma. Man when I read that book, I could not stand Emma! Why does she have the right to match people up and think what's right? Then miraculously at the end, everything is okay and she gets Mr. Knightly? What?! Really random... Well I guess the book was okay, it's just Emma...EMMA......  I guess I can also say that I'm a sucker for romance movies. The Notebook, Love on a Diet, Grease, The Holiday, and so on. I especially adore Fred Astaire movies! Oh my gosh I can't begin to explain how much I love the way he serenades the girls in the movies and how lovely he sings some of he songs! The lyrics just touches my heart! (Man I sound really sappy here..) Oh Fred, why can't all guys be as charming and sweet as you! Well here I am, sipping my cup of tea, waiting for the right guy to come. Just like my mom says, once you see him, you know. :D

Here are random pictures of celebrity guys that I like...Hehehe.
James Franco, you'll always be my number one!

Fred Astaire, you're such a sweet heart! Sing a song for me please?

Henry Cavill, you should've been Edward Cullen... Hey at least you 're Superman.
